DC

Eastern Market. Yay! Managed to catch this flea/fresh food/craft weekend market. Somehow I'm rather fond of makeshift markets cos they sell more unique and interesting things. We had a farmer's breakfast - large saucer-sized and fluffy choc chip pancakes and crab cake egg benedict. No appetite for lunch after that!

Capitol Hill.
It's a perfect Saturday. Perfectly cloudless, perfectly sunny and perfectly quiet on Capitol Hill. I expected the area to be tourist-packed on a weekend. The mere sight of The Capitol is awe-inspiring. With its pure white dome and columns standing atop a hill, I can almost believe that it lives up to its symbol of democracy, freedom and rights.

Library of Congress
. Looks like some majestic Neo-classical mansion from the outside and it's equally classically decorated on the inside. We didn't get to explore much but we managed to capture some nice pics on the outside.
US Supreme Court.
Felt goosebumps surfacing when I first glimpsed it. It's exactly how a courthouse should look like. Imagine walking up the steps and between the towering pillars, the profession takes on a new meaning.
